Name: Ngare Gender male Birthday 2015-02-08 Age 9 Country Myanmar
Personal information:
Meet Ngare, who is enjoying our programs while awaiting a full sponsorship to ensure his continued care. Since coming into the program, we’ve discovered that he enjoys soccer and swimming. With help and support from new classmates and orphan home staff, Ngare is now studying in 1st grade and says his favorite subjects are English and Myanmar. Your sponsorship of Ngare will underwrite his expenses, providing for his continued education, rehabilitation, access to nutritious meals and clean water, medical care, and the opportunity to grow in a loving family environment.
When you become a sponsor, we provide you with a private blog through which you can communicate with Ngare, view current photos, and receive updates of his experiences and growth. You can bring tremendous joy to Ngare through your messages of encouragement, love, and support. For the kids at our orphan homes, getting sponsored is a big deal- could you make Ngare’s wish come true?
All orphans we bring under our care, whether sponsored or not, are provided the same level of support. We care for our not-yet-sponsored orphans in faith, believing that God would not want us to turn them away on account of a lack of sponsors.
There is no difference in the care the child is provided whether half sponsored or fully sponsored. The idea of sponsorship is to anchor the child’s needs to one or two sponsors so that in the case of budget shortfalls, we would not need to send the child to a government institution. In short, sponsorship secures Ngare’s place at the home while also giving him additional support in knowing that he has a sponsor who cares about him.
Note that our hope for all of our rescued orphans is to find fully vetted domestic foster care, domestic adoption, or placement with existing relatives. Some of our orphans stay in our homes their entire childhood, while others may stay as short as three months. In the case that your child transitions out of our program, you will be automatically assigned to a new child awaiting a sponsor. In either case, we will inform you of the update.
