Trafficking Survivors

Sponsor a Trafficking Survivor

While our trafficking response programs reach many survivors in other countries, we are using this page to invite you to participate in our Nepali survivor care program. We operate the ‘She Has Hope’ rehabilitation home in Kathmandu, Nepal, which is home to several Nepali girls and young ladies who have been rescued, or have escaped, from slavery.

At the home, we’re successfully equipping the girls enrolled with everything they need to stand on their own, healed and full of hope. The program is a great success — over 160 girls have graduated, and of these, 47 girls have started their own businesses while almost all of the others have found jobs related to their newly acquired skills.

There are two levels of sponsorship:

  • $180/mo: full sponsorship
  • $90/mo: half sponsorship

When you become a sponsor, we provide you with a private blog through which you can send messages of encouragement to your sponsored survivor. You will receive a personalized report on your survivor’s current status upon sponsoring, and then one recap upon her graduation, including photos. For the survivors, getting sponsored is very meaningful. Through sending your notes of encouragement which are translated for your survivor, you can play a significant role in a survivor’s path to hope.

A full sponsorship provides the following for one survivor:

  • complete residential care at our rehabilitation home in Kathmandu
  • skill course training in craft-making, tailoring, cooking, gardening, and literacy skills
  • rehabilitation and counseling to address the survivor’s history
  • daily access to purified water and three nutritious meals a day
  • medical care

Select one of the highlighted survivor profiles below for sponsorship today at one of the two designated levels.
