One of the deepest joys of our work is watching rescued children not just survive, but come home, even years after they’ve stepped into adulthood.
This week, photos arrived from the annual orphan home Christmas reunion party in Nepal.
Thirteen of our graduated orphans, now in their late teens and early twenties, returned to the house of Bimal and Pushpa, the extraordinary father and mother who carried many of them out of remote Himalayan villages on two-day treks, adopted them as their own, and raised them with unwavering love.
It’s a beautiful reminder of God’s promise to set the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6) and to carry us when we cannot walk on our own.

When we look at these photos, familiar faces gathered around the living room, laughing, sharing stories, celebrating together, we’re flooded with memories of how it all began: tiny, vulnerable children rescued from isolation, starvation, and danger.
Today, because of your faithful generosity, these same young people are thriving.
Most seen at the party are still receiving college scholarships through Peace Gospel and others have launched into early careers thanks to that support. Some even return regularly to volunteer, teaching computer classes, for example, at our trafficking rehabilitation home and trade school now led by Bimal and Pushpa’s son Anmol.
They don’t live at the original home anymore (all have graduated, and Bimal and Pushpa are enjoying a well-deserved retirement), but they come back because this is still family.

That kind of lifelong belonging— rooted first in the eternal family God creates— only happens when support doesn’t stop at graduation.
Your steady gifts over the years kept the doors open, the scholarships coming, and the mentoring strong— turning rescued children into confident adults who now give back.
With just 15 days left in 2025, we’re pressing to reach our year-end goal so we can continue that same long-term commitment for every child and young woman in our programs today…

…from the girls finding healing and skills at our Nepal trade school, to the little ones discovering hope on the farmlands in Uganda, and the teens training as nurses in India.
Your gift today will be instantly doubled by our matching pledge, then multiplied further through our sustainable projects on the ground.
More importantly, it becomes part of stories that end with grown orphans coming home for Christmas— full of purpose, gratitude, and the desire to pay it forward.
These reunion photos capture something rare and beautiful: the full circle of a rescued life, a small echo of the greater rescue we’ve all received in Christ, made possible by friends like you who never stopped believing in them.
Because of you, rescued children don’t just grow up, they get to come home, and keep giving back.
Thank you for being partners who stay for the whole journey.
Will you help us finish strong and keep these lifelong family ties alive for the next generation?
