Because of your incredible support during our 2024 year-end fundraiser which replenished our emergency fund, along with donations from our recent appeal, we were able to swiftly respond to the recent earthquake in Northern Cebu, delivering life-changing aid to 200 families.
Our team delivered over one ton of groceries and dry goods, including rice, and 5,000 gallons of purified drinking water to families in desperate need.
These supplies provided immediate relief to communities grappling with the devastation of the earthquake.
Our Cebu Director shared a touching moment from the relief efforts:
An elderly woman and her daughter approached us, tears in their eyes, asking for rice and water. They couldn’t reach the truck through the crowd. Their home was destroyed, and they were living in a makeshift tent by the roadside, waiting daily for help. We were the first to reach their remote area, and their gratitude was overwhelming. Your support gave them not just supplies, but hope.
Your generosity made this possible. The emergency fund you helped rebuild last year allowed us to act quickly, reaching families in remote areas who might otherwise have been overlooked.
