Global good news to start the year shows your giving in action

2026-02-06

Your generosity continues to open doors, restore hope, and create brighter futures for children and families across the globe. December and January brought beautiful milestones and joyful moments.

Here are the highlights that made us smile!

Myanmar rice harvest, new on-campus school, college graduation
🇲🇲 Myanmar

January brought proud graduations from our vocational college which several of our own orphans were a part of. We also celebrated the grand opening of the new on-campus school you helped us fund last May. It’s now serving our 55 orphan students in a much safer environment!

And God blessed us with another abundant rice harvest filling our four orphan homes’ pantries for the rest of the year. That’s your generosity being multiplied!

Nepal rehabilitation home’s trade school graduation
🇳🇵Nepal

We recently celebrated a heartwarming graduation ceremony for the rehabilitation home and trade school girls, hosted at a nearby cafe. Our orphan home graduate children joined the celebration as fellow beneficiaries, creating a true sense of family and shared joy.

A new group of girls has just arrived to begin their healing journey and trade school training; a fresh start filled with promise!

Uganda Girls Home Christmas meal in their new dresses; farmland producing abundant crops
🇺🇬 Uganda

The girls at our Uganda girls home enjoyed a special Christmas meal together wearing their new dresses, and the computer lab continues to light up with excitement as students discover digital tools for the very first time.

Our farmland with its new rainwater catchment and irrigation system continues to provide plenty of ingredients for our students’ meals. We’re so grateful for these blessings.

🇨🇴 Colombia

The latest collection of beautiful “Sapana Dreams” (Colombia edition) bags is complete, and funding for Casa Vida’s expansion and remodel was sent in early January and the work has now kicked off.

The new “My Treasure at Casa Vida” savings program is empowering the girls in a meaningful way: each decorates her own savings envelope or card, and a portion of product profits goes into her personal savings, teaching the value of hard work, self-worth, and future planning.

Our Argentina early childhood education program serves 150 children
🇦🇷 Argentina

We as a staff had a wonderful lunch with our Argentina director, Pastor Marcelo, during his recent visit to Houston. We were so impressed by his organization, dedication, and the comprehensive care his team provides to young children and entire families.

Exciting plans and prayers are underway for a new rooftop play terrace at the early childhood care center so the children can enjoy sunlight and fresh air during recess. We’ll be updating you on that later in the year.

India orphan program Christmas party; our girls are grateful for their new clothes
🇮🇳 India

The outer walls of the future nursing college building are now complete; it’s a visible and exciting milestone! Pray with us as we have some needs to continue renovation on our legacy classroom space to better accommodate our first year nursing college students per new government requirements.

Our farmland’s recent lentil harvest brought in an impressive 3.5 tons, continuing our strong farmland productivity. Our orphan program Christmas party was filled with laughter, celebration, and gratitude.

Cebu farmland improvements underway, hen house abundance in full swing
🇵🇭 Cebu, Philippines

Work has begun on important farmland improvements and year-end capital projects you helped fund in December! Two new girls will be joining the girls home after the current school year, giving us time to put finishing touches on the interiors of the home’s unoccupied new rooms.

The newly overhauled hen house you helped us build last year is already producing significantly higher egg yields, great news for sustainability!

Your giving makes these wonderful scenes from our Manila Children’s Hope Center possible
🇵🇭 Manila, Philippines

Our Manila Director Rowena continues her faithful, loving care for the Hope Center children where you help us provide after school care, keeping these children safe, well-nourished, and supported.

Your generosity makes every one of these stories possible. Thank you for helping us bring healing, education, opportunity, and joy to vulnerable children and young women around the world.

GIVE TODAY: Your donations help us keep these stories coming. We couldn’t do any of this without you. Thank you!
