On a typical day in our programs, many “overnight” successes revealed from Uganda to the Philippines

The concept of time zones is fascinating, wondering what is going on in any part of the world at a given time.

When we’re waking up, is Beijing getting ready for bed?

What happened in Rome while we were sleeping?

For our recent gala, our team pulled up some stats to talk about what happens “overnight” on a typical day in our programs that you make possible.

And it’s quite remarkable what happened overnight in Asia & Africa while we were sleeping here in the West!

While you were sleeping, the following “overnight success” stories unfolded!

At our girls home on the island of Cebu in the Philippines, Jasmine was able to go to school with a clean uniform, shoes, and books…

In Manila, after school, Anita was able to get a meal at our Hope Center and receive tutoring help…

In Uganda, Laura woke up at our girls home to get ready for a full day of school and activities and enjoyed three fresh-cooked meals…

In Kathmandu, Nepal, Sujita woke up to a fresh cooked breakfast and chai and then attended classes at our rehabilitation home’s trade school…

In India, our orphan graduate Yesu opened his coffee shop which was made possible by a small business grant you provided, enabling him to make a living…

In Myanmar, Mima and Lulu woke up feeling peace behind the new security wall at their orphan home knowing they would have three home cooked meals and everything they needed for school today…

Thank you for being a part of today’s overnight successes.

It would not be possible without you!
