We were so very encouraged by our 8th annual “A Taste of Hope” gala held on April 18th.
What an amazing celebration of 31 years of rescued lives and of your generosity in action.
God miraculously provided over $105,000— exceeding the amount raised at our 2023 gala!
A huge thank you if you were involved in any way in supporting our gala. We are so humbled and inspired by your commitment.
So many volunteers and business sponsors made the evening possible, and so much hard work went into making the event a success. We are just so thankful for the boost of support from this community effort.
A glimpse of how beautiful the event space was…
We were very honored to have Houston sports legend Rudy Tomjanovich with us. He gave an inspiring talk about the importance of standing up for the vulnerable. We were all very touched by his inspiring comments and generosity.
But our favorite visitors were the girls brought in on video from our programs.
We were able to hear from a girl rescued from slavery, an orphan rescued from labor trafficking, and also from a girl who narrowly escaped a trafficking situation.
Hearing of their life transformation from despair to hope thanks to your generosity was a big highlight of the evening.
